Win Our Whale Tail Pendant
Â
A Whale of a Tale Winner
Congratulations to Elizabeth Goggins, with this winning entry:
"For my 41st birthday I talked a friend of mine into joining me in Baha, Mexico to go whale watching. He came from Washington, DC and I, the US Virgin Islands. We had heated discussions the whole way there because many wanted to turn Leguna San Ignacio, the last place on earth grey whale could give birth in peace, into a salt factory. On my birthday I was petting a grey whale and they and their babies were all around us. On the second day as he, a trained opera singer, sang our little fishing boat was surrounded by a mother and calf playing, a school of dolphin and numerous birds flying overhead. Magical, mystical day and he gave up supporting the factory."

I am actually entering to win the necklace for my step-mom. Even though she isn’t my birth mother we are very close and she is an amazing woman of God, and I am sooo blessed to have her in my life. The whales are a huge part of our family vacations we take to Hawaii and every time we go both of my parents are elated each time that we see the whales when we go out on the boat and the whales are always there but the funny thing is we can NEVER seem to get a good picture of them we only ever get a picture of their tailfins when they jump ha-ha my dad get soo excited and thinks he gets the shot of them breaching but he never does it’s always just the tail…So when I saw this necklace I thought it would be the PERFECT necklace for my mom to wear and remind her our all the blessings and fun filled memories we have of being together on vacation. Thank you for taking the time to read all of these I know that must be time consuming :D Have a blessed day!
Whales are important to me because my daughter is an active participant in the world wide effort to save whales along with dolphins from slaughter by the nations that still continue to hunt whales and dolphins or to capture them for show in certain theme parks throughtout the world.
I loove the whale tail, The Sea is in me blood. Irish and Scottish 2nd generation.. We lived for awhile in Central Calif in an unique area both dessert and forest with the Sea at our doorsteps.. for years we visited the Oceans end and watched the whales migrate passing playfully by.. I would love to win this.. xo
